采用Theil指数分析、基尼系数分析和局域空间自相关分析等方法，系统测度1988-2011年海南区域经济差异，以此为基础分析海南建省以来区域经济差异的时序变化及空间格局动态。结果显示，海南建省以来区域经济差异呈现先扩大后缩小、继而转平稳波动的阶段性变化，但总体上明显扩大；海南区域经济差异以4类区域间差异为主导，其空间格局总体上呈现内陆与沿海间及沿海内部差异型；海南区域经济差异在量上未突破偏小的非相对合理状态。这些表明，目前海南相对发达区域经济增长水平不高，海南整体经济增长水平偏低，经济增长缺少实力强的增长极带动。推动海南经济快速稳定增长和区域经济协调发展，以支撑海南国际旅游岛建设，必须遵循经济增长的空间规律，强化实施增长极战略，集中有限的力量重点发展海口、三亚、儋州、文昌、澄迈和琼海，在此基础上培育三个有明显辐射带动作用的增长极或核心区，避免遍地开花式的低效率开发和重复建设。
採用Theil指數分析、基尼繫數分析和跼域空間自相關分析等方法，繫統測度1988-2011年海南區域經濟差異，以此為基礎分析海南建省以來區域經濟差異的時序變化及空間格跼動態。結果顯示，海南建省以來區域經濟差異呈現先擴大後縮小、繼而轉平穩波動的階段性變化，但總體上明顯擴大；海南區域經濟差異以4類區域間差異為主導，其空間格跼總體上呈現內陸與沿海間及沿海內部差異型；海南區域經濟差異在量上未突破偏小的非相對閤理狀態。這些錶明，目前海南相對髮達區域經濟增長水平不高，海南整體經濟增長水平偏低，經濟增長缺少實力彊的增長極帶動。推動海南經濟快速穩定增長和區域經濟協調髮展，以支撐海南國際旅遊島建設，必鬚遵循經濟增長的空間規律，彊化實施增長極戰略，集中有限的力量重點髮展海口、三亞、儋州、文昌、澄邁和瓊海，在此基礎上培育三箇有明顯輻射帶動作用的增長極或覈心區，避免遍地開花式的低效率開髮和重複建設。

The Theil index analysis, Gini coefficient analysis, and local spatial autocorrelation analysis are a-dopted to systemically measure the regional economic differences in Hainan from 1988 to 2011 , analyzing the timing variation and dynamic spatial pattern of the regional economic differences in Hainan since the establish-ment of Hainan Province. The results indicate that the regional economic differences since the establishment of Hainan Province, although with the phased variation that first expands and then shrinks to a smooth fluctuation, expand significantly in general. The regional economic differences in Hainan are dominated by the differences a-mong four kinds of regions, whose spatial pattern generally appears the type of difference between the inland and the coastal and that inside the coastal. And the regional economic differences still remain at the smaller level that is not relatively reasonable in quantity. All these show that the level of economic growth in the relatively devel-oped regions in Hainan is currently not high, the entire level of economic growth in Hainan is low, and the eco-nomic growth in Hainan lacks the motivation of strong growth poles. To promote the rapid and stable economic growth and the coordinated development of regional economy in Hainan for the support of the construction of Hainan International Tourism Island, it is a must to follow the spatial rules of economic growth and strengthen the implementation of the growth-pole strategy. Therefore it is suggested to exploit the limited power to primarily de-velop Haikou City, Sanya City, Danzhou City, Wenchang City, Chengmai County and Qionghai City, and then cultivate three powerful economic growth poles or core areas that can play the leading role, avoiding the ineffi-cient development everywhere and redundant construction.
