Based on the analysis of voice over IP (VoIP) technology, the key factors such as voice protocols, speech coding, delay and jitter should be considered when VoIP is implemented in LTE. According to the characteristics of LTE technology, the final solution to voice over LTE is IMS, while its preliminary solution is dual standby terminal or CSFB.
