姓名登记是户籍管理的重要内容。户籍管理中所登记的姓名因登记而取得专属性并为法律所识别，由此成为姓名权的最主要客体。户籍管理因管理之需对姓名登记作出的规定往往形塑着作为姓名权客体的经登记的姓名，也直接形成了对姓名权的保障与限制。我国现行户籍管理规定对姓名登记（包括姓名变更登记）设有一系列条件和要求，也存在一定的缺陷和不足，为充分保障公民姓名权的实现，有必要从姓名登记的角度完善户籍管理立法的相关内容。

The registration of names is an important part of household registration management. A name obtains exclusivity and legal recognition since it is registered, thus registered name becomes the main object of the right of names. The household registration system made regulations against name registration for management purposes, which are usually shaping the registered names and directly forming the protection and restriction of naming right. Our current regulations of household registration management set a series of conditions and requirements for the registration and modifying the application of names, and inevitably have many deifciencies and shortcomings. In order to secure the realization of citizen's rights of naming, it is necessary to perfect the relevant content of the household registration management from the perspective of name registration.
