The vacuum system has been reformed in order to improve testing efficiency of hypersonic wind tunnel to adapt to the new situation. After this reformation, the running and maintenance cost of vacuum system falls; the operating conditions are improved and the testing efficiency of wind tunnel is upgraded significantly. This paper presents the reform scheme of vacuum system and contrasts the new abilities with the former .
