埃博拉病毒( Ebola Virus,EBOV)是丝状病毒科的单股负链RNA病毒,其形态呈丝状,共有5个型别,其中扎伊尔型致死率高,曾在非洲大陆引起多次暴发。 EBOV自然宿主尚不明确,猪、非人灵长类及蝙蝠都可能与病毒的传播有关,其中果蝠的关系最为密切。由于EBOV的毒力强和传播性强,加之目前尚无特效药物和疫苗,被列为生物危害四级,同时也被视为生物恐怖主义的工具之一。最近该病毒在西非肆虐人类,引起了广泛关注,因而就此做一综述,供广大同行参考。
埃博拉病毒( Ebola Virus,EBOV)是絲狀病毒科的單股負鏈RNA病毒,其形態呈絲狀,共有5箇型彆,其中扎伊爾型緻死率高,曾在非洲大陸引起多次暴髮。 EBOV自然宿主尚不明確,豬、非人靈長類及蝙蝠都可能與病毒的傳播有關,其中果蝠的關繫最為密切。由于EBOV的毒力彊和傳播性彊,加之目前尚無特效藥物和疫苗,被列為生物危害四級,同時也被視為生物恐怖主義的工具之一。最近該病毒在西非肆虐人類,引起瞭廣汎關註,因而就此做一綜述,供廣大同行參攷。

The Ebola Virus ( EBOV) is a single strand negative RNA virus , which belongs to Filoviridae.The virus shows a filamentous shape.There are five serotypes.Of those, Zaire EBOV is most fatality and has caused outbreaks in Africa . The natural hosts and transmission routes for EBOV are unclear , and the pig , non-human primates and bats , particularlly fruit bat may be associated with the virus spreading .Because of the high virulence and strong infectivity , and there is no ef-fective drugs and licensed vaccine currently available , EBOV are classified as biosafety level 4.Recently the virus caused outbreak in west Africa and become an impact threat for hunan beings and caused the public concern .Therefore this review will focus on recent progress of EBOV research .
