以双氧水为氧化剂,硫酸为插层剂,分别对35、50和80目3种粒度天然石墨进行插层、水洗、干燥和膨化处理。采用X射线衍射和扫描电子显微镜等研究了相应产物的结构特性。结果显示随着天然石墨粒度的降低,这些产物的结构特性呈现一些规律性变化:对于石墨插层反应后的产物-石墨层间化合物,石墨的插层反应程度提高;但对于石墨层间化合物水洗并干燥后的产物可膨胀石墨,残余插层物含量、石墨片膨化程度及膨化期间的失重率均降低;对于可膨胀石墨膨化后的产物膨胀石墨,膨胀容积显著降低。

Using H2O2 as oxidizing agent and H2SO4 as intercalating agent, three natural graphites with different particle size, 35, 50 and 80 mesh, were treated by intercalating, water-washing, drying and expanding, respectively. The textural characteristics of the resulting products were investigated by X-ray diffraction and scanning electro microscope. The results show that, with decreasing the particle size of natural graphite, the textural characteristics of the products present some regular changes: for the product prepared by intercalating reaction of natural graphite-graphite intercalation compound, the intercalating reaction degree increases; but for the product obtained by water-washing and drying graphite intercalation compound-expandable graphite, the relative ratio of residual intercalating agents, expansion degree of graphite lfakes and weight loss ratio during expansion decrease; for the product gained by expanding expandable graphite-expanded graphite, the expansion volume degreases markedly.
