以澳大利亚某砂质高岭土为原料,对其水洗产品做了提纯试验研究。水洗高岭土经过离心除砂,离心产率达到58.5%,总产率达到28.1%,产品的SiO2含量从52.4%降低到47.2%,Al2O3含量从36.5%提升到38.0%。对精矿进行氯化焙烧除铁钛,使Fe2O3和TiO2含量分别从1.26%和1.03%降低到0.35%和0.46%,焙烧产品SiO2含量为52.9%,Al2O3含量为45.8%,煅烧白度从86.3%提升到93.6%,达到国标造纸用煅烧高岭土ZT-(D)1产品的要求。

This paper studied the puriifcation of washed arenaceous kaolin clay from Australia. The ore treated by sand removing with centrifugal classiifcation gets the kaolin concentrate with recovery and total recovery of 58.5% and 28.1% respectively, the content of SiO2 reduced from 52.4%to 47.2%,Al2O3 content increased from 36.5% to 38.0%. The kaolin concentrate then is chloridizing roasted to remove iron and titanium, the content ofFe2O3 andTiO2 is reduced from 1.26% and 1.03% to 0.35% and 0.46% respectively. The ifring whiteness of ifnal kaolin concentrate increased from 86.3% to 93.6%, reaching ZT-(D)1-grade national standard of calcined paper coating kaolin.
