江南素为人文渊薮之地，清代科举世家之现犹如雨后春笋。吴县潘氏祖籍安徽，清初以业鹾迁徙至苏。经过数百年由儒贾立身，到专力举业的晋身之阶取换，在乾隆时期崛起为吴中著名科第艺文之家。潘氏子弟兰茁其芽，秀彩竞发，对清代中后期政治、社会、文学、文化及学术影响深巨。通过梳理吴县潘氏世系及其崛起的天命人为因素，将家族崛起置于清代中后期历史文化发展演变的景深中，探究家族文化与文学典范性成长的动力与过程。

Jiangnan region has been the place of talented people given birth .The imperial family appeared in Qing Dynasty like mushrooms after rain .The ancestral home of Pan family in Wuxian County is Anhui province and migrated from Shexian County in the early Qing Dynasty.After hundreds of years efforts to specialize imperial examination , Pan family change for a famous literary family and so many people successed in imperial examination .The paper probe into the impetus and growing process of the family culture by teasing out the bloodline of Pan family and also by exploring the fatal and artificial reason of thriving of the family .
