The current situation of and the existing problems in prevention of the animal epidemic in the large-scale animal raising farms in Wuzhong municipality are elaborated and some suggestions are put forward such as strengthening training, improving the farm layout, establishing and improving the system of animal epidemic prevention, strengthening epidemic pre-vention supervision, doing a good job in disposal of the waste, strictly executing the disinfection system, strictly carrying out the immunization program and strengthening the management in the use of the prevention and treatment drugs, in order to provide a basis for the work of animal epidemic prevention in large-scale animal raising farms.
