不同的开关变换器拓扑、不同的工作模式所产生的高频开关变换器磁芯功率损耗物理机制不完全相同,有效分离磁芯损耗的构成成分是准确预估不同类型开关变换器架构下磁芯损耗大小的前提。通过线性插值法求取不同频率处的电阻率,并将电阻率的影响包含在涡流损耗计算过程中。通过利用厂家提供的磁性材料损耗曲线,提出了一种无需依赖专业测试设备分离磁芯的磁滞损耗和涡流损耗(包含额外涡流损耗的影响)大小的工程实用计算方法,为预估磁芯损耗的大小、合理设计开关变换器的工作区间提供了有力的理论工具。

The physical mechanisms of core power loss of high-frequency switched-mode power supply are incompletely the same for different duty cycle, control mode and topology causing different excitation waveforms. It is extremely important for the designer to have a good practical model for estimating the loss components contribution under various excitations. The piecewise linear model is used to represent any value of resistivity in accordance to frequency,and its effection is considered by the eddy current loss calculation. For the manufacturer’s supplied loss data is usually available for sinusoidal waveforms, the core power loss separated model based on sinusoidal ferrite loss data is very simple and accurate since it takes into account all the three well known components of the high frequency magnetic loss. As a consequence, our approach can be a useful support for electrical designers to estimate core loss used in switched-mode power supply to avoid uncontrolled temperature rise.
