The status of the residue anode cleanup technology in electrolytic aluminum production was analyzed. The cleaning machine design tasks and requirements were put forward by a production enterprise. The whole design was determined according to the selection principle,and the pressure force was simulated and analyzed by ANSYS Workbench to provided theoretical basis for the de-sign of the hydraulic cylinder. Production practices prove the machine has good performance,and meet requirements. It opens broad prospects for the small and medium-sized electrolytic aluminum enterprises in saving equipment investment,reducing costs,improving efficiency,reducing labor intensity and protecting environment.
