作为中国的一部文学经典，《红楼梦》中包含了许多中国特色的传统文化。由于中西方文化之间的差异性和中国古诗词的丰富内涵，文化语境成为了《红楼梦》特别是其古诗词翻译的棘手问题。该文从文化语境的一个分支，地域文化语境的角度出发，对诗词中翻译中西方地域差异之处进行研究，为中国文化走出去提供拙见。

As a classic in China’s literature, Hongloumeng contains a great deal of Chinese traditional culture. Because there is a distinct cultural distance between China and Western world and the complication of Chinese ancient poetry make the translating more difficult. So how to put the cultural context into consideration reasonably turns out to be a thorny problem. The paper aims to put some humble opinion when dealing geographical distance in translating ancient poetry from the perspective of geographical cultural context.
