在2013年，“土豪”一词频繁地为人们所提起，其翻译也成了备受关注的话题之一。针对现在网络上出现的“土豪”的几个翻译版本，以Leech的语义七分法为理论指导，探讨“土豪”的英文翻译，指出译者可以从语义七分法出发，在充分理解新词的概念意义、内涵意义、感情意义和风格意义之后，争取在目的语中找到能体现词各方面意义的译文。最后提出了该词的建议译法。

In 2013, the Internet catchword“tuhao”is frequently mentioned by people and how to translate it is also a topic that widely attracts people’s attention. In the light of Leech’s seven types of meaning, this paper evaluates some versions of English translation of the word“tuhao”and points out that translators can first understand the conceptual, connotative, affective and stylis-tic meaning of the word comprehensively and then try to find the proper translation which can reflect different aspects of lexical meaning. Finally, two tentative translation versions are offered.
