Abiraterone acetate was synthesized from dehydroepiandrosterone by condensation with hydra-zine,iodization,cross-coupling with 3-pyridylmagnesium bromide and acetylation in turn.The overall yield was 5 1.4%.The structure of the compounds were determined by 1 HNMR and elemental analysis.
