Applied SE-54, PEG-20M capillary as detector, the cis-isomerism and trans-isomerism of 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol (CHDM) was determined by gas chromatography of programing temperature with FID detector. The analysis method was easy operation, fast and sensitive with good accuracy and precision, and could be use for the quantitative analysis of 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol.
