20世纪80年代以来，在世界范围日益凸现的新现象就是全球化，人类在科技、经济、文化、人际交往等方面的全球性联系不断增强。这种联系在医疗卫生领域的突出表现是患者无国界，即患者跨越国界的医疗活动日益频繁，促进了医疗旅游产业的发展。本文对医疗旅游给予论述，以期为护理专业人员更好地了解涉外医疗行为和对护理职业的影响提供思考。

Since the 1980s, globalization, a new phenomenon has been increasing apparently in the world. The global contacts of human in technological, economic, cultural and interpersonal aspects are growing. In the health field, it has become more and more frequent that patients asked for medical activity across borders, which promotes the development of medical tourism industry. Medical tourism is introduced in this article so as to help the nurses to understand foreign health care behavior.
