This paper introduced the connotation of multimedia teaching and enthusiastic teaching, elaborated the necessity, ur-gency and implementation methods of multimedia teaching and enthusiastic teaching for contemporary college mathematics. In view of students' fear and learning weariness of mathematics cur-rently, this paper pointed out how to arouse students' desire and enthusiasm in learning higher mathematics.
