In a construction with a mine freezing method ,an electric power consumption cost would take about 1/3 of the project cost.A w hole refrigeration process of the mine freezing station could be divid-ed into an ammonia circulation system ,a brine circulation system and a cooling water circulation sys-tem.All those three circulation systems would be based on an electric energy as a power.According to the construction features of the ground freezing method ,energy saving measures applied to the equip-ment selection of the three circulation systems ,installation technique ,operation management of the freezing station and others were discussed.The engineering cases were applied to show the economic benefits from the energy savings.
