木公是一位集文章与事功于一身的明代丽江府土司，作为纳西族史上著名诗人，其诗法门径始于唐、宗于杜、成于自运，追踪中原复古诗风且能体现鲜明的地域与个性特色。木公与金昌张志淳的文字交对他诗歌艺术风格的形成影响甚大，张志淳是木公诗歌创作的引路人。张氏诗论宗杜倾向影响木公至深，使得木公诗作技法成熟、主题深刻、内容丰富、情感浓郁，达到明代木氏土司作家诗歌创作的巅峰。

Mu Gong was a Tusi of Lijiang Prefecture in Ming Dynasty who had great achievement in poetry writing and social affair. As a famous poet in Naxi history, his poems, learned from the works in Tang Dynasty first, then from Du Fu, finally formed his own unique poetry style. He followed the poetry style in central China and created his own features with distinctive regionality and individualism. Mu Gong and Zhang Zhichun in Jinchang had tremendous impact on his poetry. Zhang Zhichun was considered as his guider on poetry. Actually, Mu Gong’s poetry reached the peak of Tusi poetry in Naxi history, with mature techniques, profound theme, rich content, strong feelings, and all these can not be separated from the correspondence between Zhang Zhichun and Mu Gong.
