王维新，广西文学大家，我国清代重要诗人之一。他人生的前期，主要生活在广西桂东南农村，诗作多取材于农村生活。他叙写桂东南乡村田园生活、农村民俗现象、村中名胜古迹为主要内容的诗歌，常常以白描的手法绘制一幅幅水墨画，真实、形象地反映清代桂东南农村生活，既具有浓郁的艺术性，又具有翔实的历史价值，是人们研究清代桂东南农村生活状况和农村生活历史变迁的重要参考文献之一，特别是其中的诗歌水墨画艺术方式，更值得我们学习和借鉴。

Wang Weixin, a litterateur of Guangxi. He is one of the most important poets in Qing dynasty. In his early life, he mainly lived in the countryside in the southeast of Guangxi and his poems mostly are based on rural life. His poems are mainly about rural life in the countryside, folk customs, and famous historic and cultural sites. His poems are just like ink paintings, reflect the life in the southeast of Guangxi in Qing dynasty. The poems are both artistic and valuable. They are the important reference documentation for the study to the life of the southeast of Guangxi in Qing dynasty and historical changes of the countryside. The style of art in his poems is especially worth learning and drawing.
