According to the characteristics of exhaust gas from closed arc furnace in titanium slag smelting process , the exhaust gas used for power generation , drying , chemical raw materials were proposed . Con-sidering the gas purification requirements , exhaust efficiency , technology maturity , investment , etc , the advantages and disadvantages of all case was compared and discussed . Results shown that there is 25 % of the CO gas generated during the furnace slag process . Moreover , the gas exhausted from the electric fur-nace smelting slag project is a viable option .
