The study was conducted to analyze the spatial distribution pattern infour levels of the vertical structure of 15 main tree species in the plot by using box-counting dimension.Four levels of the dominant species from bottom to top are Acer ab br inerve, A.mandsuh ricum, A.mono and Tilia amurensis.T.amurensis, A.mono and A.mandshuricum are in the dominant position in the future community succession, and the advantage position of Ulmus lacinai ta and Betula costata de-clines, while Pinus koraiensis decreases and then increases.Others showed the low spatial occupation degree in accompani-ment position in the forest, and only individual species is in a dominant position in particular levels. With the age increas-ing, A.mono, Carpinus cordata, A.mandshuricum, A.barbinerve and Padus racemosa have decreased aggregation inten-sity in their spatial distribution, while other species have not obvious change.
