This paper described the technological characteristics of the extrusion casting, summarized the research status and results of aluminum alloys in extrusion casting in recent years. The mechanical performance of Al-Zn alloy in current extrusion casting preparation is better than Al-Mg alloy, Al-Si alloy and Al-Cu alloy, but its corrosion resistance is lower than the three alloys.
