PBL is a one of the widely concerned and advanced teaching modes .This paper applies the PBL method to the teaching and practice of the course of database principle and application ,and proposes typical case design of the theory and practice based on PBL about the course .Practice has proved that students can actively participate in teaching practice ,and the method achieves excellent teaching results ,and improves the quality of teaching .
