How to apply Mathematica to find power series solution of ODE (Ordinary Differential Equation)is investigated, the software package and statements are given to obtain easily power series solution for general second order linear differential equation. In the teaching of differential equations,it is helpful to improve the ability of students in mathematical experiment.
