西南民族地区以其独特的天、地、人系统以及自然、人文资源的丰富性与科技、经济的落后性形成强烈的反差。而职业教育的共生、协调、可持续发展将能弥补经济科技落后的短板。探寻和谐共生的民族之内涵，分析西南民族地区职业教育的弱势和不足，实现民族地区职业教育的和谐共生发展，必将成为全球化时代我国西南民族地区职业教育发展的必然选择和必经之路。

There is a unique combination of nature ,earth and people in the southwest minority area . However ,it is strongly contrastive between the abundant natural and cultural resources and the lagging sci-ence ,technology and economy .The symbiotic ,coordinate and sustainable development of vocational educa-tion will make up for the short board of economic and technological backwardness .Therefore ,exploring the connotation of national harmonious symbiosis ,analyzing the shortcomings of vocational education in south-west minority regions and realizing harmonious symbiotic development of vocational education in minority ar-eas will become the inevitable choice of vocational education development in southwest minority area in the era of globalization .
