针对医学专业学生大学英语教学过程中存在的学习兴趣不高、效果不佳的问题以及社会上医患关系紧张、人们对医护工作者的人文精神提出更高要求的现状，提出把有关医学的外国文学作品引入医学专业大学英语课堂，辅助教学，以期对医学生英语水平的提高和医学人文精神的培养有所帮助。

This paper puts forwards the introduction of foreign medical works in the col ege English teaching, in order to train medical students to improve English proficiency and medical humane spirit, according to the existing problems in col ege English teaching for the medical majors:low inter-ests, the ineffectiveness, the tension between doctors and patients and the higher demands of the humane spirit.
