Collaborative innovation is the essence of the speech by Comrade Hu Jintao at the 100th anniversary convention in Tsinghua University. Based on innovative development of Marxism education thought in China, this article analyzes that the collaborative innovation is the new development of marxism education thought, and it is an important approach to improve the level of higher education and quality. It also points out the direction for the development of higher education in China.
