临床医家对消化性溃疡病因、病机及治疗用药从多角度研究，但从临床经验出发居多，临床上可取得一定疗效，但缺乏辨病论治和辨证论治相结合的整体治疗理念。按痈疡辨病论治结合局部辨证论治，体现了中医学整体观念与辨证论治相结合的治疗理念，疗效显著，有一定的可行性和合理性。
