With accelerating process of phase-out HCFCs refrigerant in the domestic air-conditioning, natural refrigerants as good environmental friendly refrigerants are concerned greatly around the world in recent years. The research progress on the system performance, flammability and compatibility of R290 domestic air-conditioning was introduced, and some constructive suggestions for further use of R290 in domestic air-conditioning were put forward.
