The calculation of heat dissipating capacity and the design of ventilation system for the main building of a 4×330 MW coal-fired power plant in certain cold area were presented. With the similar projects operating and testing under actual conditions, the key points for ventilation design of the main building were discussed, and the applicability of these key points was analyzed.
