Postgraduates have differences in English learning. If well noticed and utilized in postgraduate English teaching, the differences will help achieve unexpected effect. The essence, cause and effect of the differences are the very key point of this paper. There are great disagreements and different opinions on the differences in the academic circle. The writer makes an in-depth survey on the postgraduate group of Jilin Normal Uni-versity, and taking the individualized postgraduate English teaching as the research object, comes to the following conclu-sions.
