Much importance has been attached to higher educa-tion by the country and society, so ideological and political edu-cation work has become one of the important contents for univer-sities. The ideological and political education work of university counselors directly concerns university students' concept recog-nition and theory learning in ideological and political education. In view of some problems existing in the ideological and political education work of university counselors, this paper made an in-depth analysis and proposed corresponding countermeasures.
