Based on the investigation of noise pollution in the cylinder room in a coal mine and the characteristics of the noise in a cylinder room, a comprehensive method of noise control is carried out by adopting the scheme provided by Vibration. Some noise reduction measures including acoustic insulator, acoustic absorption body and sound barrier are utilized. After treatment, the noise in the cylinder room has fell by 6 dB, which lead to improved work environment and enhanced work efficiency.
