The United States is the only country in the world to realize the implementation of large-scale mining of shale gas , which produced extensive and far -reaching influence to the United States and the world energy pattern .Triggered by the United States , "shale gas revolution"are spread all over the world .Shale gas resource is abundant in our country , but whether "the Ameri-can model"can be copy should be carefully treated .Neither conservative nor radical policy can be the best choice in China .We should be objective and practical to strengthen the investigation and evaluation of shale gas resources in the development and utilization , and to strengthen environmen-tal regulation at the same time .
