Aiming at the problems of the 10 kV distribution network such as short feed line, big load and many subsection in feed line of ring main unit, analyzes the cause and puts forward solving proj-ect. The improvemenf result shows that using local protection device, by higher and lower protection devices closedown, can advance the selectivity of switch trip in 10 kV distribution network, has both reliablity and economy.
