In No 21141 coal roadway heading face of Qianqiu Coal Mine, the compound disasters exist, including high-concentration gas, medium-intensity rock burst, spontaneous combustion and so on, so various kinds of measures should be simultaneously taken for the prevention and control of these disasters, this greatly increased the difficulty of the safe cut-through of the coal roadway. For this purpose, research was carried out on the technologies for the gas and rock burst prevention and control and the safe cut-through of the coal roadway, and these technologies were found successful application, which ensured the safe cut-through of the coal roadway heading face.
