Interpreting teaching models for vocational colleges should naturally differ from those adopted by four-year-program universities due to the differences in talent cultivation objectives and teaching targets of interpreting courses. This paper introduc-es and compares four influential interpreting teaching models both at home and abroard, and then makes four suggestions on how to build interpreting teaching models characteristic of vocational colleges.
