随着我国经济的持续发展，一批批农民进城务工，谋求经济利益，致使农村出现青壮年空洞化现象。在此形势之下农村出现了庞大的留守儿童群体，与此同时产生的农村留守儿童的隔代教育问题日益成为公众共同的关注的话题。伴随中国经济发展出现的这种特殊现象，它的出现是由很多因素造成的，同时也带来一些利弊影响。我国农村人口达半数以上，解决农村留守儿童的隔代教育问题已经是中国教育事业中不可小觑的一环。
