In this paper, mahoraga figures in red-and green-color decoration are observed to provide an insight into the reasons behind the popularity of these images from the Song Dynasty folklore in Jin Dynasty and their characteristic Jurchen style of decoration. It's believed that mahoraga figures in red and green enamel decorations are crafted under the combined influences from Jurchen culture of Jin Dynasty and the folklore of Hart nationality.
