This paper briefly describes the WGS84 longitude and latitude coordinate system, the Beijing 54 plane coordinate system, and the transformation principle of the WGS84 longitude and latitude coordinates into Beijing 54 plane ones. It presents a transformation method of vector data from the WGS84 longitude and latitude coordinates to the Beijing 54 plane ones by using the software of ArcGIS.
