《汉语大字典》收字力图包举古今,按字形数收字,但汉字俗异体繁多,往往会失收一些俗字形体,俄藏黑水城文献中部分俗字可以对其进行证补。

The Chinese Dictionary does its best to contain the words from the ancient to modern times.It collects Chinese characters according to their shapes.However,there are too much characters in popular forms and variants in Chinese characters,and the Chinese Big Dictionary often fail to collect characters in popular form.In this case,certain characters in popular forms in Chinese Document of Heishuicheng Manuscripts Collected in Russia can make supplements for it.
