Through the selection principle of evaluation index, the authors divide the bus / coach safety into three in- dex systems which are active safety, passive safety and vehicle technology management. They make the qualitative index quantitative and determine each index weight, in order to take the comprehensive analysis of the evaluation value of bus / coach safety by use of the analytic hierarchy process.
