水质工程学是给水排水工程专业主干课程。水质工程学教学改革以学生为本,培养良好的工程素质,改革课堂教学内容,尝试以工程设计和工程实例为主线,精简教学内容,拓宽知识面,结合水处理技术发展更新教学内容,强化理论与工程实践相结合;改革教学方法,开展课堂师生互动教学,锻炼学生口头表达和积极思维能力;课堂教学与课程设计相结合;课后利用网络辅助教学培养学生自学能力,养成终生学习的习惯。

Water quality engineering is one of the main courses for the major of Water Supply and Sewage Engineering.The reform of the course aims to develop good engineering quality of students.During classroom teaching,many measures are applied to broadening students' knowledge,such as streamlining teaching contents with engineering design and engineering examples to connect theoretical study to engineering practice,updating teaching content according to the development of water treatment technology,and combining classroom teaching to course design and so on.Besides,students' oral expression and thinking skills are strengthened by classroom interactive teaching.And during extracurricular time,the network-assisted teaching method is used to develop students' self-learning ability and to develop their habit of lifelong learning.
