蔡元培是我国民国时期著名教育家，在教育理论与实践中都有诸多成就。从他的“五育并举”思想、大学理念和北大实践均可以看出其思想之深邃以及给后世产生的深远影响。教育独立性是蔡元培先生的教育思想之灵魂，从他对教育目的阐述、教育目的实现路径的探索均可以看出这一思想精髓。本文总结了蔡元培教育思想中的教育独立性，以期给今天的中国教育带来若干启示。

Tsai Yuean - pei, a well - known educator in republican period, has made a lot of achieve- ments in educational theory and practice. From his " Five - Education - Advocating" thoughts to the idea of university and his practice in Peking University can be seen that his ideas are profound and far- reaching im- pacting on future generations. The soul of Tsai Yuean - pei's educational thoughts is his independence of edu- cation, which can be seen from his illustration of the purpose of education and the exploration of the path to a- chieve the purpose of education. The paper concludes the independence of education in Tsai Yuean - pei's educational thoughts, in order to bring some enlightenment for today's Chinese education.
