This article analyses the fundamental reasons of the crankshaft accident in the diesel generator engine and the influencing factors in all aspect. At the same time, the article summarizes the lessons learned from the accident. Finally this article points out that, daily management, matters need pay attention to prevent crankshaft accidents are offered for the marine engine manager's sake.
