证候类新药开发是符合中医药特色的、具有独立创新性的新药研发模式，而证候的选择与诊断是其研究的难点之一。本文围绕证候的确立、证候与疾病的关系、证候的诊断等等问题进行探讨，希望能对证候类中药的诊断模式提供些许参考。

Objective The development of syndrome class new drug is conform to the characteristics of the traditional Chinese medicine.It is an independent and innovative new drug research mode,and the choice of syndromes and diagnosis are the most difficult points of the research.This paper focus on the establishment of syndrome,syndrome and disease and the relations between syndrome diagnosis and so on,and hope to provide some reference for the Chinese medicine diagnosis model.
