首先以Larsen—freeman的三维语法模式为基础,从理论上论述了语义在语法三维(语形、语义、语用)中的基础和核心地位以及大学英语语法教学以意义为基础的优势;然后以英语时体系统的教学为例,通过与传统语法教学的对比,展示了如何实施基于意义的语法教学。大学英语语法教学中重视和把握语法结构的意义对教师有效组织教学,对大学生系统、深刻地理解、掌握和运用语法形式都是非常有帮助的。
首先以Larsen—freeman的三維語法模式為基礎,從理論上論述瞭語義在語法三維(語形、語義、語用)中的基礎和覈心地位以及大學英語語法教學以意義為基礎的優勢;然後以英語時體繫統的教學為例,通過與傳統語法教學的對比,展示瞭如何實施基于意義的語法教學。大學英語語法教學中重視和把握語法結構的意義對教師有效組織教學,對大學生繫統、深刻地理解、掌握和運用語法形式都是非常有幫助的。

Starting from Larsen - Freeman' s three - dimensional model of teaching grammar, this paper first elabo- rates theoretically the fundamental and core status of meaning in Larsen' s grammar of three aspects, namely form, meaning and use, and the superiority of meaning - based college English grammar instruction. Then, by contrasting with the traditional grammar instruction, and taking the teaching of English tense - aspect system as example, it demonstrates how to implement the meaning - based instruction in College grammar class. It can be concluded that in college English grammar instruction, much importance and emphasis should be attached to the meaning of gram- matical structures, since it can help teach grammar effectively on the teachers' side and deepen and improve great- ly and systematically the understanding, grasp and use of grammar rules on the college students' side.
