Mechanized micro-irrigation technique plays an important role reliving water shortage and promoting the growth of water-saving agriculture in China. This article deals with the concept of micro-irrigation and its common forms. The author expounds on the compositions of micro-irrigation system and its advantages in a hid to provide reference for the promotion and application of this water-saving technique in modem agriculture.
