在2008和2009年6~9月连续两个夏季对湖北省七姊妹山鸟类资源进行了调查,结果显示:该地区鸟类组成南北区系混杂,且地理型分布不明显。结合保护区现状,分别对鸟类资源的保护与保护区的管理提出了相应的建议。

The authors of this article have made investigations into bird resources of Mountain Seven--sister from July to September in 2008 and 2009, and the results show that the composition of bird species in this area is very complicated, and the geographical distribution is not obvious. Sixty--three species belonging to eight orders and twenty--two families are recorded, in which twenty species (31. 7%)belong to paratactic realm and twenty,one (33.3%) species to the oriental realm, whereas twenty--two (34.9%) species are widespread species. There is one species under class I of National Protection and sixteen species under class II. Finally, the article proposes some countermeasure on bird resources protection and management.
